This project assesses how a school of education’s professional development services have helped school districts reach their leadership development goals for assistant principals.
ISKME is conducting a study of the Faculty Inquiry Network (FIN). Funded by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the Walter S. Johnson Foundation, and the San Francisco Foundation, FIN was launched in January 2009 as a professional development program and community of practice led by the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District.

ISKME is conducting research for the Community College Open Textbook Collaborative (CCOTC). Open textbooks are defined as textbooks that are free for anyone to use, reuse, and redistribute. The purpose of CCOTC is to identify, organize, and support the production and use of high quality, accessible and culturally relevant open textbooks for community college students, and to develop a sustainable network of individuals and organizations engaged in advocating for the use of open textbooks in community colleges.
